Denken will aim for realization of a sustainable and abundant society and is implementing the activities which give consideration to environment by many aspects of business activities such as energy saving efforts for realizing carbon neutral.
Efforts to environment.
- Energy consumption reduction.
- As business subject to energy saving act, we will promote energy saving activities toward reducing 1% a year of energy consumption intensity.
- Product design, development and manufacture which consider the perspective of life cycle.
- In product or service design/development process,we establish the system of design for environment intended environmental load reduction in a stage of each life cycle,and are working on environmental load reduction activities.
- Reduction of CO2 emission.
- Toward realization of decarbonized society,we are working on reducing CO2 emissions by promoting the setting of solar power facility,various power saving activities,garbage sorting and tree planting and so on.
- Joining RE100 RE Action
- We have declared that the renewable energy ratio of electricity used by the Denken Group in our business activities will be 100% by 2040, and we are working toward its realization.

Denken is carrying out the contribution activities to all stakeholders linking to us for existing together with them such as employee,customer,business partner and local community.
Efforts to occupational safety and health.
We have establish a safety and health committee at each plant based on industrial safety and health act,and promote preventing work-related injuries through safety patrols,and managing employee's health through stress check.
Promotion of employment of people with disabilities.
We will aim to support economic independence for handicapped,and are proceeding employment for people with disabilities in cooperating with facilities division for disabled people.
Designation of evacuation site.
Electronics division is specified as primary refuge shelter at the time of disaster at Kitsuki-city,and open up as evacuation site in case of emergency, then we are suppose to assistance while cooperating with the person in charge of the city.
Promotion of community contribution activities.
We are promoting community contribution and local communication through setting O・SO-LAR at evacuation site, area cleaning activities and environmental education, etc.
Clean up activity for riverbed of Oita river running through next to headquaters office.
Environmental education aimed at child living at local area by solar division.

we are a company with board of directors that it decides basic management policy and implementation of important business,and the system which monitors and controls the fair judgment management is provided.

We have formulated BCP against various risk measures such as abnormal climate,and carry out a continuous improvement by doing operation and review.

We make effort to provide a secure and reliable service with working on maintaining and improving of information security and are thorough with appropriate information control.

Until now, we have issued "Environmental Report" and "CS Report" separately. However, this time, we have created a "Sustainability Report" by integrating the two reports so that we can better understand our ESG efforts.
